Cracked Mirror Top Guitars

Made popular in the 1970's by Paul Stanley of KISS. The cracked mirror top guitar is an iconic symbol in classic Rock-n-Roll. The process is a painstaking one that involves routing out the face of the guitar, and hand fitting hundreds of pieces of mirror shards to get the right look.

I've done dozens of mirror tops over the years including colored mirror tops, flags, faces, crosses, razors... You name it. Anymore, I rarely do mirror tops on customer guitars. But, it's not uncommon to see a custom Parable guitar with a cracked mirror top. Here are a series of pics that show the process on an Iceman bass
